Player killers walk through the Wilderness looking for others to hunt, to kill and take their items. All who enter the Wilderness should take heed, for it is not safe and danger is all around.

Player Killing, often referred to as 'Pk-ing', can be attempted in a number of areas, such as the Duel Arena, Castle Wars, and the TzHaar Fight Pit, but none is as dangerous as the Wilderness.

 Combat Areas

There are two forms of combat area found throughout the land of RuneScape - single and multicombat areas.

Single combat restricts players such that they can only fight one-on-one. In a multicombat zone, multiple players can attack multiple targets.

Multi-combat areas are identified upon entering by two crossed swords appearing in the bottom right hand corner of your screen. Anywhere else is classed as a single combat area. Multicombat areas are especially dangerous in the Wilderness, as more than one player can attack you at one time. This could be beneficial to a player, because by attacking as a team you will decrease your chances of dying and will increase your chances of defeating stronger players.

lotro-1

Even though Lord of the Rings Online: The Shadows of Angmar shipped to stores earlier this year, Turbine and Midway have some interesting plans for their upcoming patches that they were eager to share with us. If you remember, a major patch (referred to as Book 9) was launched only six weeks after the game hit retail shelves. This added the Evendim zone, increasing the size of the world by 10 percent!
Whew! It’s been an unbelievable year for LOTRO – seeing Middle-earth coming alive before our eyes has made all the years of development worthwhile! It’s hard to believe that less than a year ago we were deep in Beta, preparing the game for a huge launch!
At the same time, the developers included the Annuminas zone, but made it inaccessible. Sure, you could see it in the distance, but you could never go there. But when the Book 10 patch goes live in August, you'll finally be able to visit. When you arrive, you'll encounter a war zone where evil NPCs are constantly trying to overrun three distinct regions. If you manage to push them back and take control of an area, you'll gain access to an instance. Within that instance, special items will drop that you can take to a vendor and trade for pieces of a slick-looking and powerful set of armor.

For those of you who like a little backstory with your gauntlets, Annuminas was the original settlement of Elendil and the Dunedain after the calamitous downfall of their Island Kingdom. Then, for reasons never gone into, they abandoned Annuminas and moved on, leaving it uninhabited for 1,500 years. Now you're trying to keep it out of the hands of the enemy, for who knows what wondrous weapons and treasures may have been left behind by the Men of the West...
We aren't sure, but we do know that players will find a new reputation system in the 10th book, as well as new public dungeons they can quest in to build a relationship with the faction of their choice. This will serve two purposes: An opportunity for players to earn powerful weapons beyond their level, and a chance for Turbine to show off the kind of deep caves that players will be able to expect in future patches, when the developer digs into the deeps of Moria.
Or, if you aren't in the mood for questing, Book 10 will allow you to log directly into Monster Play, so you can slay the forces of goodness violently, and conveniently. And nothing is more violent or less convenient for your foes than a giant troll, which you will be able to play as in the new patch. But trolls (and rangers, on the free side) won't be units you can keep and develop, rather they're part of a new system called Session play. Basically, you can spend five thousand destiny points and spend an hour as a giant troll. It sounds expensive, until you realize that every ability in a troll's lethal arsenal affects multiple targets.
There's a catch, though. To keep trolls and rangers in check, Turbine plans to limit the available number of sessions at any given time. If your faction controls most of the Ettenmoors, there may only be one or two session slots available. On the other hand, if your side is getting killed, seven slots may open, giving your forces a chance to get back into the battle.
As a leading MMO, we’re looking forward to expanding the LOTRO franchise into China, Korea (we recently announced our partner NHN, a huge game operator in Korea) and other territories worldwide, adding to our huge and growing communities in North America and throughout Europe.
If all the slots are taken and you're tired of questing, you still have one new option: Critter-based Session Play. If you go to the Shire, you can assume the form of a free-range chicken for 500 destiny points. As a chicken, you have a huge list of deeds to complete, and some that will take you as far as Angmar! There can only be fifty chickens online at a time, and we have a feeling the spots will fill up frequently. Just check out this list of abilities: Threatening Cluck (You cluck threateningly!); Bob and Weave (You concentrate on not getting your head cut off); Possom Impersonation (You play dead, because who would eat a dead chicken?), and Foul Fleetness (A 50% movement increase for thirty seconds).
We know, that's a lot of information, but clearly Turbine has been hard at work giving players a clutch of reasons to be excited about the coming months in Middle Earth. And on top of all this, they told us they will definitely be introducing player housing in Book 11, which should be available sometime this fall. In the meantime, you should definitely take a look at what's new in Lord of the Rings Online. That is, unless you're chicken.

Free runescpae money

My friend told me about this site. But I like it so much.
My combat lvl is just 21. I had played the game for 3 days.
I am 35 years old. My son always plays this game and he told me it is very cool. So I join it.
At first, I finished the newbie quest. Then I was moved to Lumbridge when I was lvl 3. I began to practise my life skill and combat lvl.
I attack some goblins. First I don’t know the differences of chop, slash, lunge and block. I just used Slash and my strength XP grew very fast. But the attack and defence didn’t get any xp. Then my son told me I need use other actions to get the other xps. Well, lots of goblins were killed at my sword. That’s a cool feeling.
I also do some life skill. Like Fishing, Cooking, Firemaking and WoodCutting. Well, It is really a new world for me. I will go to varrock and play there.
Runescape is really a great life for us.I like it. And I think I will continue to play with my son.
Here is some introduction of Runescape.
Runescape2 or RS2 is a massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) that was developed by Jagex, a United Kingdom company, in 2001. RS has both free-to-play (F2P) and pay-to-pay (P2P) accounts. With over a million P2P accounts and over 9 millions F2P accounts, RS is considered to be one of the most popular online games in the world. In December 2003 Runescape was also named as one of the fastest growing MMORP game.

how to and where to fight for newbie in runescape
when you have finished the newbie quest. Then you stand in lumbridge. In this space, there are some low level monstor run around.you could kill them to get exp to lvl up your skill and others.
Goblins, Lvl 2
there are many level 2 goblins running around between Lumbridge and Draynor Village (where the nearest bank is). They are non-aggressive (meaning, they don’t attack you when you walk by them) and drop runes as well as low-level armors, as well as bones and coins. The low-level armors can be sold at the shop to build up your money stores, and the runes can be stored in your bank account for use when you decide to practice your magical skills.
Chickens and Cows, Lvl 2
In the northeast of Lumbridge, across the river from where you originally started the game, you could not only find Goblins and also Chickens and Cows running around.
These areas were discussed in a previous entry about aquiring food on Runescape without begging, I was focussing my attention on picking up raw beef and raw chickens that other players have left behind in their own battles.
This time, the attention is on being among those players slaying the poor innocent farm animals for experience, adventure, and glory!
Chickens can offer bonus that was not discussed earlier - feathers, which are used in fly fishing and, if you’re a member, in fletching for the creation of arrows. Keep those feathers around, since you never know when you might need them or could sell them for up to 10gp a feather!
Cows also offer a bonus in that they drop cow hides which are used to improve the Crafting skill, but the hides don’t “stack” the same way the feathers do and your inventory fills up rather quickly, meaning lots of trips to the bank. However, just like in collecting raw beef from what other players have killed, you can collect cow hides and make that, instead of fighting the cows, your specific goal. It’s likely you can sell each cow hide for 10-20 gold once you’ve collected 100 or more.
Giant Rats, lvl 3
Just to the west (outside) of Lumbridge Castle is an area with a few level 3 giant white rats, and a few level 1 mice running around. Mainly, you get raw rat meat and bones from these rats, but occasionally you may luck out and receive a rat tail. It’s important to know where rat meat is as at least one quest asks for it, but I much prefer the previous opponents due to the better “drops” they offer.
Other non-grouped monsters
In Lumbridge there are a couple level 4 Women who reset in the houses. In general, Women and Men are great opponents to start against, and they offer decent “drops” including occasional clues to treasure trails!! For this reason you may find competition stiff for the Men and Women on Runescape.
That should give you a great start!

Source:http://www.goldsrunescape.com/runescape-guide.html

Runescaep account

 Runescape Account

Create a free Runescaep account

Go to http://www.runescape.com and click the create a free account (new user).

In the first page, you could select your age and select the contry where you live. And remember you must not select under 13 age.or you must not create the account. In the second page, give it a good, creative name which will be shown in game.In the fourth page,it introduce Terms and Conditions in runescape. If you want to sign up to an account, you must agree it.In the last page, you could make the password no one can guess and you must agree with the Privacy Policy. Now your account have been created.

if it is your first time to login into game, you must make your character look.Make your character look good which you wish.
Then you will be send to Tutorial Island new players are sent to in RuneScape after making new account. In this island, you could learn baiscs skill and knowleage from tutor in runescape.

After you have leave the Tutorial Island, you will be send to lumbridge castle.you go out the gate into Lumbridge Castle. From there, head straight up the road until you reach a two-way fork in the road. Take the one IMMEIDIATELY left(don't go over the bridge). Look on your there, head straight west until you reach a city with white walls (also known as Falador). As soon as you are in the gate, turn left. You should be in a shield shop. Talk to Cassie and buy a steel kite shield if you have enough cash. If not, just go to your magic list and click Lumbridge home port. once you are there, go outside the gate.

Go across the bridge, and head up the road until you see a chicken coop. Go ahead and start killing these. Collect the feathers, and sell them for 5 gp each. Keep killing them until you are level 10 in attack, strength and defence. Do not try to purchase black. You should be about level 12, maybe higher. Bank all but 3 of your items (keep your armour and weapons) and go to the cows. Train on these cows, and while training, collect cowhides.
Once your attack, strength, and defence are about 15, sell all the cowhides for 50-100 will have a nice little money tree. Keep training on cows and collecting hides until your levels are about 20.

Sell the hides and go back to all the stores you bought your armour and weapons from, selling your steel, and using your cash, buy some mythril.
Repeat killing the cows until levels are 30. Go to sell the hides, and your mythril, and instead of buying partial adamant buy full adamant + a weapon in Varrock west bank for 35k. Do not buy transgender clothes, you will look like a retard.

Now that you have your adamant, bank all but 3 items and go to the dwarf mines. Look on your world map to find it. Once you are down the ladder, head out the entry way to the left. Head all the way to the back until you find scorpions. Kill these until you have a desired level.

Enjoy your account, it may take long time to create, but under hard work you could be outstanding!

Source:http://www.goldsrunescape.com/runescape-accounts.html

Runescape-2

check out the runescape swicki at eurekster.com
Introduction to Combat

Combat in Runescape is generally known as a group of seven separate skills, and these skills make up your Combat level. While your Combat Level isn''t technically an actual skill level, it is still very important. They are important in the game due to the fact that you need them to defeat things for quests and stay alive and other various things.

The Basics

An important thing to note is that combat level is based upon the armour and weapons that an NPC has, naturally or equipped. For example, a Fire Giant will have a higher combat level due not only to his strength and size, but to his rather large Dragon Sword and Chain Mail. Things change a little during Player Vs. Player fighting, but that will be covered later.

When you hover your mouse cursor over an NPC or player, that person''s (or NPC''s) combat level will be displayed.

Combat levels in green mean that you have a higher combat level than them. Combat levels displayed in red mean you have a lower combat level than your target. If the colour is displayed in yellow, it means the player has a similar combat level as you, or the NPC is within your combat level range.

Combat Level

There are seven skills that compromise your combat level: Attack, Defense, Strength, Ranged, Magic, Prayer, and Hitpoints. All seven of these skills have a special effect on your combat level; for example, if your Strength and Attack attribute is greater than that of Magic/Ranged then your combat level will be Melee based. If your Magic attribute is greater than Strength or Ranged then your combat is Magic based, and if your Ranged is greater than Strength or Magic then your combat is Range based. All these skills together also determine what your actual Combat Level is. This guide will mainly cover the melee part of combat.

This is an example of a player''s combat and their combat skills. Their Melee levels exceed all others, so this player is Melee Based.

Combat Types

There are seven total skills relating to combat and three kinds of fighting. XP is gained in these skills depending on how much damage you deal.

Melee

What is Melee? Melee is defined as physical combat; the sword and shield. When using Melee weaponry, you can only attack at close quarters. In certain cases, such as using the Halberd weapon, the melee warrior may stay a distance away from a would-be attacker and attack from either behind a fence, another player or a safe-spot, such as a high wall in Castle Wars or from behind a cage. There are four skills intertwined with ''melee'' that effect your combat: Hitpoints, Strength, Defence, and Attack.

Hitpoints

The Hitpoints (HP) aspect of Runescape is not a complicated nature. It basically means how much damage you can take before you pass out and wind up in Lumbridge or Falador. There is NO direct way to train this skill, because it takes approximately 0.33% of all your damage and applies that to your Hitpoints experience. Your Hitpoints are affected by ALL combat skills, so a high level in this would be very nice to have and easily trained at the same time.

Attack, Strength & Defence

The next three skills of melee combat - Attack, Strength and Defence - are a key factor of melee fighting. The Attack skill determines how often you hit (so a higher Attack Level means you will hit your opponent more often); the Strength skill determines how much damage you deal (so a higher Strength Level means you will deal higher damage per attack); and the Defence Skill determines how often you''re hit (so a higher Defence Level means you would be hit less by opponents). It is good to have these levels even, but as you advance in Runescape, there can be certain advantages to having spaced out levels.

However, Attack, Strength & Defence are also 3 of 4 combat styles. You will learn more about these later on.

Magic

Magic can be a useful part of combat. You can use Magic to deal various amounts of damage to your enemy from long range, teleport around Runescape, enchant items, and a variety of other things that give you an advantage in Runescape. For more information on Magic, see the Magic Guide.

Ranged

Ranged is a very powerful part of combat. You can use ranged with a variety of different weapons to inflict damage on your enemy from a distance. For more information on Ranged, see the Ranged Guide.

Prayer

Prayer isn''t necessarily a direct melee attribute but it does heavily affect the tides of battle whilst fighting as well as affecting your combat level. When you are praying, this shows to the Runescape Gods that you request their mercy and pity, and in many cases they will bestow it upon you. You can use Prayers to protect you, boost your stats temporarily, and a variety of other things. Everything is covered in the Prayer Guide.

Fighting

As mentioned earlier, fighting is a very important part of Runescape. It can be rewarding, as well as dangerous. There are many factors to consider when fighting, such as weakness, combat styles, levels, and so on. There is a lot to learn about all kinds of fighting - melee, magic, and ranged.

Combat Styles

Attack, Strength & Defence are 3 of 4 combat styles. When melee fighting, you can usually choose from 4 kinds of combat styles -Accurate, Aggressive, Defensive, or Controlled. Your combat style can be changed from the combat interface menu (see picture below).

When fighting with any combat style (excluding controlled), your level is related (Accurate relates to Attack Level, Aggressive relates to Strength Level, and Defensive relates to Defence level), and you will do more of what that skill offers (e.g., if you were fighting with the Aggressive Combat Style, you would deal higher damage), and the majority of the expierence you gain will go to the level related to your style. The Controlled style is a different story. In this Combat Style, your accuracy, strength and defence are distrubed evenly - as is the expierence you gain.

Choosing a Combat Style is important. Say, if you wanted to level up your Attack Level more, you should fight in the Accurate mode. But if you want to conserve your HP and take less damage during a fight, you should fight in the Defensive mode. There are many things to consider.

For example, there are many NPC's that are weak to one thing and more resistant to others. Bloodvelds, for example, have magic-based attacks, so when fighting them, it's better to wear equipment that is resistant to magic, such as Dragonhide.

Another quick thing to remember about combat is the auto-retaliate button, located on the same menu where you can change your combat style. When this option is set to on, you will automatically fight anything that attacks you. When it is off, you will not fight back if you are attacked.

Multi-Combat Zones

There are certain zones throughout Runescape, Wilderness and not, specified by two twin swords in the lower right hand corner of the screen, that are Multi-Combat Zones. In these zones, both multiple NPCs and multiple Players can attack multiple targets. Otherwise, fighting is restriced to one-on-one.

Death

If and when you die, you will spawn in Lumbridge (or Falador in some cases) and in most cases you will keep your 3 most valuable items, or the three items that will sell the highest out of all of your items in a general/specialty store. By activating the ''Protect Item'' prayer you can keep up to 4 items. Please note that you do not keep stacks of items, but only three. (For example, if you had 50 natures runes, you would only keep three.)

However, things may change if you are skulled. This is indicated as a skull above a player''s head. Your become skulled when you go into the wilderness and attack another player that hasn''t attacked you in the wilderness recently. When you are skulled, you lose all items when you die, unless you have the Protect Items prayer activated, in which case you will keep the most valuable item. The skull above your head stays with you for 20 minutes, or until you die.

Please note that the three most valuable items rule goes by the price of high alchemy - so, for example, a Rune Plate would be kept over a Party Hat, since a Party Hat only alchs for 1gp.

The Combat Triangle

As you''ve learned, there are three ways to fight in Runescape - Melee, Magic, or Ranged. The balance of these three styles are kept even through the Combat Triangle.

As a general rule, a warrior (melee fighter) will do better fighting Rangers (ranged fighter), but be weak against Mages (magic fighter). A Mage will do better against warriors, but are weak against Rangers. And, obviously, a Ranger will do good against Mages, but be weak to Warriors.

Player-To-Player Combat

Though you might be able to beat very strong NPC''s, when fighting another player in the Wilderness, it''s very different. In the wilderness, players can fight you and do everythin you can - eat, drink potions, use special attacks, etc. You have to consider a lot of things. The Combat Triangle becomes very important in the Wilderness. The odds would not be in the favor of a Mage fighting an equally leveled Ranger.

As noted above, being skulled is also a big part of Player to Player fighting - if you start a fight with someone and earn that skull over your head, you won''t get to keep any items if you die (it''s important to remember this if you''re traveling in the Wilderness).

There are still many more aspects of the Wilderness and PvP fighting to be learned. You can learn more about the Wilderness and PvP in the Wilderness Guide.

Special Attacks

Most higher level weapons in Runescape have a ''Special Attack'' option. When weapons with a special attack option are equipped, a special attack bar appears on the Combat Styles section of the menu. When this bar is fully lit up, you can click it to activate the special attack. When activated, the next time you attack something, the special attack will automatically be used on your opponent.

Using a special attack will take away a certain amount of energy from the special attack bar - depending on what weapon you use. With some weapons, you can use the special attack many times, and with others, you may only use it once or twice. If you do not have enough energy in the special attack bar to use the special attack, you must wait until it has charged back up enough to be able to use the special attack again.

Special attacks, of course, vary from weapon to weapon not only in special attack energy consumed, but by type. The special attack may be a powerful slash, such as in the case of the Dragon Long Sword, or it may be a powerful ranged shot, as in the case of the Magic Longbow. Some special attacks even have a special effect, such as the Dragon Scimitar - it''s special attack is the ''Severe'', which prevents the opponent from using Protect Prayers for 5 seconds. Protect Items is unaffected.

Here is a table of all the Special Attacks in Runescape.

 Special Attack

 Image

 Effect

 Magic LongBow: Powershot

Full power of longbow used; increased chance of hitting opponent

 Magic ShortBow: Snapshot

Two rapid shots fired at opponent; accuracy decreased

 Seercull: Soul Shot

Opponents magic level decreased by the amount of damage inflicted

 Dorgeshuun Crossbow: Snipe

Opponents defence level lowered by the amount of damage dealt; better chance to hit an unsuspecting opponent

 Rune Throwing-Axe: Chain-Hit

In multi-combat area, projectile bounces off multiple targets, dealing damage to each

 Rune Claws: Impale

Slower but more accurate and powerful attack

 Bone Dagger: Backstab

Opponents defence level lowered by the amount of damage dealt; better chance to hit an unsuspecting opponent

 Dragon Dagger: Puncture

Two quick strikes at opponent with decreased accuracy and power

 Dragon LongSword: Cleave

 Inflicts increased damage to opponent

 Dragon Scimitar: Severe

More accurate attacks that, if successful, prevents opponent from using Protection Prayers for 5 seconds

 Dragon 2H Sword: Powerstab

Area attack that damages nearby enemies

 Dragon Battleaxe: Rampage

Attack, Ranged, Defence, & Magic stats temporarily lowered while Strength is boosted

 Dragon Axe: Clobber

Decent level food such as Lobster, Swordfish or even Shark can serve you very well. There are many higher level foods that heal even more (up to 22!), but may be more expensive, require a higher Cooking Level to make or are just plain tedious to get all the materials assembled. (For more information, see the Cooking Guide).

- Dress in the strongest armour and weapons you can wear/afford, or equip the best armour or weapon for that particular fight (see last miscellaneous tip). For more information on armour strengths and values, see the Equipment Section.

- If you're facing a monster that's far stronger than you, be prepared to run away from them. There's no shame in fleeing from a strong monster.

- Make sure to use items that will give you an advantage when fighting (e.g., wearing Dragonhide when fighting Bloodvelds, since they have a magic based attack). If you face a monster with a special property (i.e. Dragon), come prepared by having an Anti-Dragon Breath Shield, or Anti-Dragon Breath Potion. It would be a shame to not be able to really heal under the (sometimes) instant torrent of flames one would recieve.

Extra Combat Info

There are some other, extra things that you should know about while raising combat:

Cape of Accomplishment

The ultimate reward for getting level 99 Attack, Defence, Strength or Hitpoints is not only the great ability you will have in the skill, but the Cape of Accomplishment that you will have the oppurtunity to purchase.

Opponents Defence and Magic stats lowered

 Dragon Mace: Shatter

Powerful attack with a reduced chance to hit

 Dragon Spear: Shove

Opponent is pushed back away from you and stunned; no damage is inflicted

 Dragon Halberd: Sweep

Powerful slash inflicted upon your opponent; halberd will automatically sweep back and deal extra damage when fighting large NPC''s

 Granite Maul: Quick Smash

Extra attack taken instantly; no other effects

 Abyssal Whip: Energy Drain

More accurate attack that, if successful, transfers 10% of your opponents run energy to you

 Excalibur: Sanctuary

 Defence stat increased

 Darklight: Weaken

If attack hits opponent, their Attack, Defence & Strength are decreased by 5%; the same stats are decreased by 10% in the case of demons

 Rod of Ivandis: Retainer

When a Vampyre has only half of his health remaining, this attack suspends the Vampyre in the air so you can apply a dose of Guthix Balance Potion

 Barrelchest Anchor: Sunder

Successful hit will lower either enemy's attack, magic, ranged, or defence level temporarily by 10% of the damage caused; chances to hit doubled

Ancient Goblin Mace: Favour of the War God

Successful hit will do damage regardless of the Protect from Melee prayer that your opponent may be using; prayer is drained from your opponent and given to you

 Brine Sabre: Liquefy

Equipment can be obtained in a variety of ways, from killing monsters and doing quests, to making them yourself, through Smithing and Crafting. Let''s take a look.

Melee Armour & Weapons

The main kind of equipment used in Melee Combat is Armour & Weapons. Decorative and trimmed items are not included, as well as most other kinds of lower-level equipment.

 Equipment Page

 Description

 Metal Armor

Contains all metal (mithril, rune, etc.) armour information

 Other Armor

 Contains all non-metal armour information

 Metal Weapons

Contains all metal (mithril, rune, etc.) weapon information

 Other Weapons

 Contains all non-metal weapon information

 Miscellaneous Equipment

Contains information on melee related jewelry, potions, etc.

 Barrows Equipment

Contains information on Barrows Equipment (Dharok, Torag, etc.)

 God Equipment

Contains information on God Equipment (god armour, prayerbooks, etc.)

Tips

The following are useful guidelines that everyone should use when fighting.

- Make sure to carry food!
